Help with grad school

I only have a few minutes before class, but I wanted to share this with you:

This url was posted in the classified section of a student newspaper. A senior undergraduate created the website to ask for $5 towards obtaining a CPA. What I find most unbelievable about her plea is the claim that she’s dreamt of becoming a CPA since seventh grade.

It also makes me sad. How have we gotten to the point where we need to create websites, place ads and set up paypal accounts so that we can go to grad school?
